King of Herbs: Ganoderma Lucidum

Ganoderma lucidum
also called the reishi mushroom or ling zhi
is one of the most popular medicinal mushrooms
in China, Japan, and the United States.

Ganodrema ranked number one of the superior medicines.

Ganoderma grows on logs or tree stumps. It has a shiny, hard, asymmetrical cap that ranges in color from yellow to black.

Ganoderma have a long history of medical uses. It had been recorded as having the most extensive and effective healing powers. In ancient China, ganoderma was so rare and so highly prized that it was reserved for the emperors and called the "Elixir of Life."

Some consider ganoderma an adaptogen (or natural regulator).
It suppresses the body's immune system when it is overactive
and boosting it if it is underactive.
